Our Samurai Pet Armour is a unique look at pet costumes, with our original being featured all over the world! Featured on a variety of sites across the web, our cute, fun, lightweight armour for pets was highly sought after, and everyone wanted one! Who wouldn’t?! A samurai cat found walking around the neighbourhood would be the talk of the town!!
We were unable to meet the international demand due to a language barrier, and now we are more prepared and back to offer people from all over the world the chance to get their hand on their own Samurai Pet Armour, in special limited metallic red and black alongside a new addition: The Samurai Pet Helmet, a until now unreleased part of the Samurai Pet Armour! We here at SAMURAI AGE (a company based in Fukuoka, in the south of Japan) aim to make items that both convey a sense of good old-fashioned Japanese culture and show off our playful side that we hope appeals to everyone!
With that in mind, after getting various feedback from those that want or already own our product, we have decided to create our Samurai Pet Armour with an extra bonus of having a Helmet that matches and are bringing this to everyone on Kickstarter!!

We want to introduce (and for some reintroduce) the armour to you all, and give some close up shots to show how friendly it is for pets to wear (as well as how cool they look!)
The inside of the armour and the helmet is extremely soft and is created so that it doesn’t chafe or rub your pets uncomfortably.
We know that when it comes to cats especially, they tend to move in weird and unexpected way. But with this armour, there is no problem at all! What’s more, our models always feel comfortable enough to just chill out while wearing it! As well as this it’s durable enough for adventures outside as well!
The Pet Armour we make is extremely lightweight! It’s so light that you can lift it with just one finger!
The material we use is a polystyrene base, that makes it really light, really flexible and doesn’t impede on your pets movements at all! The band itself
is soft enough to allow for movement but keeps a tight enough grip so that it isn’t slipping along the body!
This also means that it has the additional benefit of being able to be hung when not in use, like a piece of decoration or even displayed on a large display board or if you have one a large bottle!
Completely safe, even when wet!
Due to the material used, it doesn’t absorb water and is fine in the rain!
This makes the armour extremely easy to clean, meaning you can take your pet outside and just wipe away the dirt when they come in!

All the armour is carefully designed and produced here in Japan. Using our years of experience, we diligently make all the pieces of armour and helmets by hand.
Due to the size of each piece of armour, each piece is delicately handled and created with the utmost attention to detail, in order to give the owner the peace of mind that the item they are getting is a quality product!
The Pet Armour can be worn by just fitting the cat with the armour and then closing the buttons!

Fit and take off by just using the fasteners!
Taking off the armour is as easy as wearing the armour! Because the buttons are just snap fasteners, it’s easy to remove! By just unsnapping one button on the shoulder and torso, you can just slide the armour off!
<Helmet>
Fit the ears in and just fasten the buttons!

When we first started making Samurai Armour for pets, the news quickly exploded, and was spread all across the internet, and orders flooded in not just from Japanese customers but also from customers from overseas.
However unfortunately due to not being able to respond in English and coordinate, we couldn’t accept a lot of these overseas orders.
We want to make things for everyone to enjoy and learn a little bit more about Japan and due to this problem, we couldn’t meet expectations.
However, we've partnered with a company that will allow us to accept and support overseas orders, making this possible!

Hello! My name is Eiji Kimura, I was born in Fukuoka, a city found in Kyushu Prefecture, one of the larger islands in the south of Japan. I have always had a passion for creating and so I entered Kyushu Sangyo University, and joined the Department of Art, looking to major in Sculpture. We learned a multitude of things while there, and I was lucky enough to move on to a Silk Screen Printing company after graduating to carry on my art career.
After this, some of my friends and I decided to create a company for ourselves and thus the SAMURAI AGE Brand was born. I've always had an interest in our native culture, and I wanted to create things that could convey this culture to everyone else. We finally came up with brands that took the motif and essence of old fashioned Japan and created souvenirs that were both interesting and little playful.
The Samurai Pet Armour has been a unique part of my career. I am able to create things that not only are interesting but allows me to mix my love for animals as well. It's truly heart-warming to see my work being enjoyed by our pets and other peoples pets.
About shipping schedule: Corona restrictions are still in effect, so we are planning to send the armour January next year, but it may change again depending on the situation. As well as this, we are planning to send out all rewards at the same time, so if there are a lot of backers, this may also affect the shipping schedule and method of delivery. The armour is scheduled to be shipped in January 2021, but delivery may be delayed due to unexpected circumstances. We ask for your understanding. Also, if the product is ready early, we may deliver it sooner than we say. In regards to delivery updates, we will keep backers updated via the Updates section at the top of the page. About size: We have three sizes depending on the cat. If you are worried, please see the size chart first, and if there are still concerns, please contact us.
