Hostel Pass is a service that allows you to stay at hostels nationwide at an affordable price of 28,000 yen a week and 75,000 yen a month when you stay in Japan for a long time.


1. Features of Hostel Pass
(1) You can stay with peace of mind at high-rated hostels.
Choosing a hotel is a matter of hygiene, location, price, and so on.
Hostel Pass allows you to stay with peace of mind because we only tie up with places that are highly rated on booking sites such as Airbnb and booking.com.
You don't have to pour through a multitude of booking sites while looking at reviews upon reviews!

Hostel Pass costs the same amount of money regardless of the season!

Creates a link between guests and the Hostelpass staff!

Another benefit is our ability to create a bridge for communication between other Hostelpass users and our staff! As well as this we also have links to the local staff at the hostels themselves.
For those that wish, we can also connect users via a Facebook Group that will allow for people to connect to those that are travelling in the same area or region, or learn more about a different region in general!
Local hostel staff are included in this, so you can find local information about the regions the staff are in! Find your new travel destination and new places to discover even when you're home!

What are some types of situations that you can use Hostel Pass
（１）Those that are travelling for a week or more!
For backpackers this pass is extremely useful! By being able to travel and stay all over Japan, it makes planning your trip so much more easier!
Also with our group, it allows for travelers to discover more about the areas, and learn more about the culture and history!
By giving one price for one week or one month, it allows for you to calculate the cost much easier!
Having registered hostels all around Japan means you can also participate in a large selection of events that happen all year round, such as summer festivals and so on, giving you chance to experience a large variety of Japanese events.
Staying in hostels is an amazing chance to meet new people and make new friends be it Japanese or foreign!

（２）Study Abroad and Working Holiday
With the amount of homes in Japan being limited, it can be hard to get a place to live, and what's more many landlords don't rent out to foreigners.

For those that come here to either study or to try out a working holiday, it can hard to settle on a place to live.
By using Hostelpass for a month or two, it allows you to find your feet in a new country, as well as giving you a place to stay while you try to find your new place to stay. You might even be able to ask the hostel staff for a little help as well!

One other thing that is a plus is that even if you stay in Tokyo for the week, you could always travel to another registered hostel on the weekend to check out a new location! It's always a benefit to have something like this to fall back on!

＜How to use Hostel Pass＞

＜Reservation＞

With the launch of the site, a full list of usable hostels will be listed.
From there you can choose and book a place to stay.
Please be aware that some places might be booked fully, so try to book a place as early as possible.
As well as this, please note that only one place can be booked per pass.

＜Cancellation Policy＞

For a cancellation, please contact the hostel you reserved directly.
If you contact them by a least one day before, you won't have to pay any fees, however cancellation on the day will lead to a full charge for the room.
If this occurs twice, or there are 2 no shows at a hostel, then your ability to use the Hostel Pass will be revoked.
In this case, no money will be returned to you, so please be aware of this.

Schedule

The schedule is to open up the site to pre-booking and then have a full launch of the site with the end of the crowdfunding project! For those that wish to use the pass straight away, please get in touch with us!
